Crayg Wellbeloved
Crayg has been performing in musicals since the age of 11. After studying Performing Arts at Chester University, he moved to Telford and joined SMTC, where he has played numerous lead roles including Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar, Bernadette in Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Ariel in Return to the Forbidden Planet, Motel in Fiddler on the Roof, Eddie in Sister Act, Willie Lopez in Ghost and Gabe Brown in School of Rock.
Crayg also directed SMTCâs 5â production of Beautiful The Carole King Musical and continues to perform with the company while leading our Mini SMTC classes with energy, expertise and passion for nurturing young talent.
Megan Austin
Fresh from choreographing Spamalot, Megan brings professional experience and infectious enthusiasm to our sessions. She trained at The Hammond School from ages 13 to 16 before gaining early entry to Bird College, where she completed her Level 6 Diploma in Musical Theatre at just 18.
Her professional credits include ensemble and first cover Wicked Queen in Snow White pantomime. Megan has choreographed numerous dance showcases, musicals and wedding dances, and continues to teach Mini SMTC while training in aerial skills and fitness.
Together, Crayg and Megan supported by our amazing class assistant Jess Foxall create a supportive, inspiring environment where every child can find their voice, build confidence and have fun on stage. đ

Our Thursday night classes in Frankwell, Shrewsbury are open to children aged 4â12 years. Term 3 starts on Thursday 6th November.
đ Class times:
- 4â6 Year Olds: 6:15pm â 7:00pm (45-minute session)
 - 7â12 Year Olds: 7:15pm â 8:15pm (1-hour session)
