WEDNESDAY Learn to Tap & TUESDAY Musical Glee - Come and join us......

Shrewsbury Musical Theatre Company are delighted to announce that we are continuing with our incredible value and fun Tuesday/Wednesday evening offerings.......open to both our current members and the wider community!

It's a fantastic opportunity to come and get involved with SMTC for those who are unable to commit or not sure about doing a full scale musical and for our members it's a chance to do something a little different and to upskill.

Musical Glee with SMTC

Our Glee club had a fantastic time last year singing at some awesome events. This year we are changing things up, to join us there is a £40 annual membership fee, for this you will be able to join all our rehearsals (once a month on a Tuesday, plus any extra we need for specific events) and be able to perform at any of our events. Only registered and paid members can perform, paid members will also be provided with a printed song book of lyrics.

As always we will be focusing on bringing songs from the musicals (and a few pop songs) to the masses at Shrewsbury Pride, Orbit Rocks, Oktoberfest and more!

There will be opportunities for soloists (we are particularly after some stronger vocalists) and backing singers alike to be involved, we offer a very informal, fun and social setting.

Our first session of the year is on Tuesday 21st January, if you new to us then please feel free come along for the first time without commitment and see what you think.

The sessions will run from the Darwin Community Centre on Frankwell (next door to the Little Boro Chip Shop), all dates are on the registration form.

Learn to Tap with SMTC

Our great value tap class run by the very impressive Rosie Dixon now moves into its second term running from the Sundorne Youth Centre studio, 218 Sundorne Road, Shrewsbury, SY1 4RG at 8:15pm.

Sessions are weekly and will last 1 hour

First session of this new term running till Mid March is Wednesday 15th January and you must be registered and paid in advance, fees for 10 sessions are £50 (just £5 per session). Dates are all on the registration form.

Places are limited to 18 on a first come first served basis.
