Be Part of SMTC’s New Vocal Ensemble – SeMiTone Crew!

SMTC is thrilled to announce the launch of SeMiTone Crew, a brand-new, tight-knit vocal group of up to 10 performers (18+), bringing live music (via backing tracks) to events across Shropshire. This exciting initiative is designed to showcase the incredible talent within SMTC, raise funds and to develop a vibrant, dynamic presence in the local community.

SeMiTone Crew is more than just a singing group it’s a creative, collaborative ensemble for performers who want to make an impact on stage. We are looking for strong vocalists and charismatic personalities who can contribute to a professional, polished sound while also enjoying the camaraderie of a small, supportive team.

Who We’re Looking For:

Confident singers with strong vocal ability.
Performers with personality, someone who can shine individually while blending beautifully with the group.
Team players who are reliable, enthusiastic, and ready to commit to rehearsals and events.

Commitment & Costs:
Rehearsals will be scheduled on a pay-as-you-go basis and kept as minimal as possible. Members are expected to attend rehearsals and confirmed events regularly, SMTC will provide as much notice as possible and work around availability.

Auditions & First Performance:

In-person auditions will be held early February
We aim to perform our first gig on St. Patrick’s weekend, giving our new group the chance to shine right from the start!
