More than just a theatre group, Shrewsbury Musical Theatre Company (SMTC) is a community that you can help build. As the largest and longest-serving non-profit musical theatre group in Shrewsbury, our members are the heart of everything we do.
We are thrilled to launch our new annual membership programme, designed to give you more opportunities to perform, grow your skills, and have a direct say in our future.

By joining for a minimal annual fee, you aren’t just supporting the local arts; you’re unlocking exclusive benefits:
- Discounted Show Fees: Enjoy reduced rates on performance fees and priority access to audition bookings.
- Shape Our Future: Have your say in our Show Selection Voting and help decide which shows we bring to the stage.

Membership Fees
Our membership year runs from 1st April to 31st March. Please note that there is no discount for joining part-way through the year.
- Adult Membership: £15 per annum
- Child Membership: £5 per annum
How to Sign Up
We have partnered with Zeffy to manage our memberships. Zeffy is a fantastic platform that ensures 100% of your fee comes directly to SMTC.

The Small Print
Annual membership runs from 1st April to 31st March each year. Please note that there is no discount for joining part-way through the membership year.
Life members of SAOS (Shrewsbury Amateur Operatic Society) will be signed up manually by our team and a membership card sent via email. Life members should request to join our members only Facebook page by clicking the button below.
